Enrych Support
Our volunteer and facilitation service has been operating successfully in Oxfordshire for nearly 35 years.  Over the years we have successfully enabled hundreds of adults with physical disabilities to take up leisure, learning and sporting activities of their choice supported by a one-to-one volunteer who shares their interest or by facilitation to a club or group.  This service is offered free of charge to the service user and funded mainly by donations, grants from Trusts & Foundations, and community fundraising.
Enrych Interact
Enrych Interact developed due to the Covid pandemic but is now a permanent addition to our services. It includes a number of activities with the main one being leisure and learning topics via Zoom. We run a programme of zoom sessions every month which so far have included quizzes, bingo, coffee mornings and much more.
In addition to this we have a established a private Facebook page where our members and volunteers have a forum to chat freely privately. This forum also offers quizzes, brainteasers and useful information.
For people who do not have digital access we have various projects to get involved with including blanket making, favourite recipes, lockdown photos etc and anyone wanting regular contact can request a recurrent call. from a member of staff or volunteer.
Enrych Connect
Enrych Connect introduces computers, tablets, and the internet to adults with a physical disability and their carers. Our aim is to reduce social isolation and improve independence, quality of life and well-being. We aim to provide advice and support on the best equipment to meet individual needs and the most suitable broadband provider for the area before offering basic training at individual’s own pace in whatever software is required ie online shopping, use of social media, video calling, internet banking etc. This in turn will promote independence, reduce isolation and enable digital inclusion.
Social
Anyone joining any of our various services will automatically be welcomed to the Enrych Social Community and will receive a Newsletter every quarter together with invitations to the numerous social events we run across Oxfordshire eg pub lunches, ten pin bowling, theatre trips, days out etc.
We know that coming together for a lunch, coffee morning or trip to the South Coast can make a difference to individuals, help reduce isolation and is often a place where new friendships form.
